French Press Cozy
Hi all! Here is a fabulous crochet pattern for all those coffee lovers out there. Have you tried making coffee with a French Press? I would recommend a French Press to anyone. After years of using drip coffee machines and then a Keurig, I decided there was too much maintenance, counter clutter and expense (ahem, k-cups) and it was time to switch. I went to my local Target and bought myself a $20 French Press. No fancy buttons, no plugs, no tubes to clean out and no pre-packaged coffee pods (I’m also not a fan of making more garbage). Just a simple press for easy coffee-making.
The only downside is there is no way to keep the coffee hot for the next cup. It only took a few days to realize I could crochet a cozy for my press. I chose a simple cotton yarn that is easy to wash and absorbs any drips. The texture of the popcorn stitches help to trap the heat inside. I love the result and I think you will too.
This pattern uses less than one ball of Sugar n’ Cream cotton yarn.
