With the shops having nothing but beautiful nautical clothes for my girls I was inspired to produce this lovely pair of french style baby booties and beanie, I think the look is finished nicely with a pair of vintage buttons, you will need a small quantities of each colour, blue white and red and they can be done in wool or cotton.

For the booties you will need small quantities of DK weight yarn in navy blue, white and red and a size E/4 (3.5 mm) hook.

Sizes:

Size explained are 0 - 6 and 6 -12 months.

For the beanie you will need the same type of yarn but I have used a F/6 (4 mm) hook.
