French Ticking Stripe Throw
The French Ticking Stripe Throw
by DaisyGardenCrochet
The French Ticking Stripe Throw was inspired by blue and white striped ticking fabric made popular in the United States by the interior designer Sister Parish. According to her biography on the Architectural Digest website, Sister Parish used crocheted, and other handmade items to give her fabulously decorated rooms a comfortable homey feeling.
This throw pattern was developed with that thought in mind. My goal is to help you make an accent piece that adds both beauty and warmth to your home.
The pattern is a PDF file and is written in English using US crochet terms.
Blanket Measurements
The French Ticking Stripe Throw is crocheted lengthwise and measures approximately 55” long by 51” wide. The pattern includes a schematic to illustrate.
