A pair of socks with berries fresh from the garden.

This pattern contains detailed shaping instructions with a row by row short-row heel, a stitch guide and all stitch patterns both charted and written.

Skill level: intermediate.

Techniques: knit/purl in the round, knit through the back loop, increase/decrease, bobbles, short row heel, grafting.

Yarn: 350-400 yards of your favorite sports weight sock yarn (solid or semi solid color recommended).

Size: Woman medium (8” around foot) To modify size, check gauge then go down (smaller) or up (larger) a needle size. Easy tip!

Tools: Size US 2 1/2 / 3 mm (or size to get gauge) set of 5 DPNs, 2 circular needles or 1 long circular for magic loop; tapestry needle; scissors; 1 stitch marker.
