Have you ever wanted to knit a flat circle? Maybe even a seamless flat circle? Then this coaster is your answer!

This fun coaster set is worked seamlessly in the round, starting from the outer cast on edge, and decreasing to the center. The decreases are carefully placed to produce a circle without visible wedges. Seeds are sewn on using basic embroidery for the apple and watermelon. Instructions to make this coaster are written out once, along with an explanation of which rounds should be worked in which colors to create the different fruits. It is 3 patterns in 1!

Skills Necessary: Working in the round, k2tog, color changes, stretchy cast on

Needles:
• US size 7 (4.5 mm) double pointed needles (set of 4)
or
• US size 7 (4.5 mm) circular needle long enough for magic loop
or size to obtain correct gauge

Yarn

Watermelon
• Green: Approximately 5 yds (5 m)
• White: Approximately 5 yds (5 m)
• Pink/Red: Approximately 10 yds (10 m)
• Small amount of yarn or embroidery floss for the seeds

Kiwi
• Brown: Approximately 5 yds (5 m)
• Green: Approximately 15 yds (15 m)
• Black: Approximately 2 yds (2 m)

Apple
