This lightweight ascot-style scarf is just the
ticket to take the fall chill off. This scarf
looks great under a trench coat or v-neck
and is a good introduction to color work
for beginner knitters. The tile is a mosaic
stitch pattern where one color is used at a
time, eliminating fussy multiple-stranding
as in Fair Isle technique. This ascot is
closed using snap tape with decorative
buttons added--no need for buttonholes!
Because it is done in sock yarn, a myriad
of color combinations is possible.
