The Freyda Beanie is a simple, modern pattern that results in cool texture. Gorgeous when done in monotone…fun when done in more than one color. Choose between either a ribbed band, bandless or bulky yarn option!

Simple stitches are combined together to create a hat that has so much texture. A fun stitch combination has been introduced in this pattern that delivers cool detailing!

The main hat is done in aran weight or thicker/stiffer worsted weight yarn - the result has such a fun thickness and feel to it! Choose a ribbed band, or a non banded version.

There is a bonus pattern included for a bulky yarn version that is a super quick make with lovely, squishy results.

So…3 style options - limitless colour possibilities!!

Important things to consider:

• This hat has a slight back seam which is more visible with some yarns than others. A self striping yarn will really hilite the seam. Some people do not love this which is why I note it here.

• It is strongly suggested that a foundation half double crochet chain be used on the bandless style option. A simple single crochet base chain can also be used - but it will not provide the same kind of stretch/flexibility.
