This listing is for a Beginner Tunisian crochet pattern, with full written instructions, photo tutorials for every step and a color chart.
Level of Difficulty:
This is a Beginner Tunisian Crochet pattern for a fully reversible cowl, featuring a traditional Nordic snowflake pattern (using two colors of Wonderfluff). Despite the appearance, there are NO color changes involved! It assumes comfortable knowledge of basic crochet stitches, and includes full photo tutorials of how to set up for Tunisian stitches as well as for the stitches themselves.
Materials:
- Size 5 Bulky yarn (see below for yardage)
- 9mm (USM-13) double ended Tunisian Crochet Hook, and 8mm (US L-11) traditional crochet hook. Alternatively you can use 9mm/8mm interchangeable Tunisian Hooks, or sizes needed to meet gauge.
- yarn needle
- scissors
- stitch marker (to mark the beginning of the round)
Yardage (total):
Adult Large 246yds/225m/3oz/85g
Gauge: (worked in the round)
13 sts x 14 rounds = 4” (10cm) in Tunisian Knit Stitch
Finished measurements:
Adult Medium 25” circumference, 8.5” tall.
Adult Large 28” circumference, 8.5” tall.
Customization options are also given with the pattern.
