There aren’t just a ton of self-portrait artists out there as famous as Frida. This pattern is a bit more on the challenging side, because there is some embroidery and a lot of stitching, but I know you can do it! I provided quite a few pictures to help you through some of the tricky parts.

Supplies:
1 skein tan worsted weight yarn
1 skein or less, black worsted weight yarn.
1 skein each bright ​red​, ​deep red​, ​black​, ​pink​, and ​white ​finger weight yarn
(optional) ​ 1 skein finger weight yarn in your color choice, if not using deep red for hair twist.
