The sweater has been inspired by the double face of the iconic Frida: on one side, she is colorful and pretty in flowers but this side is also shorter… (as the front part of the sweater). The back part is longer: a wide cable representing her health problems and the lacy sleeves show the holes in her heart that Diego had left.

Pattern has been written in American English. PDF file of 10 pages with designer’s tips and clearly written instructions and charts. Knitter’s level is rather intermediate for making this project as it covers lace and intarsia and even crochet seaming (but this is optional).
