A classic, this child’s raglan sleeve, v-neck cardigan is worked in stockinette and a purl 6, knit 1 stitch pattern. Fronts, back and sleeves are worked bottom-up. The pick-up and knit front band features a picot bind-off matching the picot cast-on at the lower edge. Design motifs are worked in Mosaic stitch; no steeking required. The mosaic motif is charted separately for each size. The number of stitches to be picked up for the front band is calculated based on your gauge to ensure a flat, smooth band. Pattern includes: five sizes to fit children ages 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, and 9-10, a schematic, a primer on Mosaic technique and Mosaic charts for each size.
