Beaded and lacy, this friendship bracelet is a great gift, or make some for yourself! Pattern uses the smaller pony beads, but they can be swapped for some other choices, or even lettered beads to spell out a message or name.
If you use a different bead or thread, make sure your hook will fit through the bead when it also has thread on it. This can sometimes be tricky, if changing thread size or bead size.
If using lettered beads, this pattern gives the beads a slight zigzag orientation, so take that into account if that will be a problem for names or messages in beaded letters.
