I wanted to make a very pretty shawl that is quick to make despite being beaded. I especially wanted something that could be a special gift for a friend at Christmas. Every bead is a friend I want to remember at this time of year, or memory of us together. It’s a shawl for reflecting and meditating. And you can just keep going so you can make it as big as you like. One skein makes a shawlette. Two skeins makes a hug.
