Frill Dress and Bonnet
for 5 inch chubby Berenguer baby dolls – also known as Lots to Love itty bitty baby dolls by JC Toys.
Dress is knit from the bottom up in one piece to armholes, sleeves are then joined in as you knit the yoke

pattern for hand knitting consists of dress, bonnet, panties and booties
All pieces are knit flat and seamed
knit stitches used: knit, purl, yfwd, k2tog,k3tog, kfb, p2tog, psso, SL1, yrn

Materials:
3/4oz.(approx 98yds) Mary Maxim Twinkle or similar fingering weight yarn/4ply
Size US 1 (2.25mm) straight needles & additional spare set
Size US 1 (2.25mm) 24” circular to knit dress NOTE pattern is not knit in the round but circular needle is used to hold number of sts, work back & forth just as straight needles
Size US 2 (2.75mm) straight needles
Size US 2 (2.75mm) spare set of dpn & 24” circular NOTE that pattern is not knit in the round, needles are used to hold sts, work back & forth just as straight needles
¼” (9mm) button for dress
18” of 1/8” ribbon for dress
12” of 1/8” ribbon for bonnet ties - optional
Sewing thread and needle to attach button & ribbon ties
