ABOUT THE DESIGN:

FRILL ME TEE is a light summer tee, knitted in a summerly, lightweight, breathable linen and silk blend yarn. The silhouette is loose with long shoulders, a boat neckline, and a feminine frill across the front. You can leave the neckline raw or add a little neckband for a more finished look.

It is worked from the top down. The yoke is worked on 3 mm needles, and the neck is shaped with short rows while the shoulders are made with increases. The work is then separated into front and back, each worked back and forth on 4 mm needles with integrated I-cord along the armhole edges. The front and back are joined under the armholes and decreases are worked along the sides. The body is finished with ribbing and an Italian bind-off.
The frill is knitted from a ridge across the front, back and forth with integrated I-cord at the edges. If you want to, you can finish the neckline with a little neckband.

GAUGE 10x10 cm:
22 sts x 33 rs in stockinette stitch on 3 mm needles.
21 sts x 30 rs in stockinette stitch on 4 mm needles.

RECOMMENDED NEEDLES:
Circular needles 3 mm (40, 60, 80 cm).
Circular needles 4 mm (60, 80 cm).
