Frilled Lizard Neckerchief
This is a fundraising pattern for my late brother, Mino. (1971-2004)
What do you do with the leftover of beautiful Madelinetosh or Malabrigo? This is a solution for you.
Just 130-150 yards of the various leftover yarn will make this cute neckerchief. The size in the pattern will work for small kids and adults.
Skills required:
K, P, YO, K2tog, Kfb, Ktbl
Skills recommended:
Twisted German Cast-on (YouTube link is included in the pattern)
I used up all my leftover Tosh Pashmina, but you can use any weight of yarn.
A perfect spring neckerchief!
All the proceeds of this pattern will be donated to Minoru Hokari Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Australian National University. My late brother, Minoru Hokari (“Mino” 1971-2004) died of cancer at the age of 32. The scholarship fund supports young scholars who study Indigenous Australians through fieldwork. We are trying to fully fund it to achieve its perpetuity. Please help.
Please visit Being Connected with HOKARI MINORU (www.hokariminoru.org) to meet Mino.
