This hat is knitted top down on DPNs or a circular needle.
The pattern covers measurements for Small, Medium and Large sizes with a reasonable degree of stretch in each.
All three sizes use no more than one ball of the Hayfield Bonus Aran yarn for the main hat colour. If you want to add the contrasting colour cast off then that will amount to no more than 20g of the same yarn type.
