Frilly Filet Crochet Mini-hat pattern and finished object received an honorable mention award at the 2019 New York State Fair.

The finished object is five inches in total across and the crown is approximately a half-inch tall.

Materials:
100% mercerized cotton size 10 crochet thread, I’ve made 5 mini hats out of one 350-yard ball.

1.5 mm crochet hook

Purple ¼ inch ribbon, enough to circle hat crown and tie a bow

Parchment paper to dry your finished item

Plastic soda bottle cap top to place under hat crown when it is drying

Optional broach pin to glue on the back if used as jewelry

Gauge: 9 SC = 1 inch

Pattern includes directions to stiffen the finished object using Elmer’s school glue.
