Frilly Janes is a feminine baby booties pattern. It features faux cuff socks with a ruffled edge tucked inside a Mary Jane style shoe. Shoes feature working cross strap that buttons around a cherry, or button if you prefer. Frilly Janes complements my Sweet City Cupcake Hat. Pattern is for booties only.

Pattern Level is Intermediate. This pattern assumes that you have knowledge of knitting techniques. Bootie is worked from top of cuff down and finishes with 3 needle bind off at the sole bottom.

Additional materials needed: small crochet hook for making the button loop, and optional buttons (2) approx. size 3/8” but size is dependent on size of button loop.
