This pattern is available in both English and French (see french below)

“Frimas” is this thin layer of frost that covers our hair and scarves when we dare go out on a freezing day. This shawl is inspired by the beauty and deliquacy of winter sceneries and is also a weapon to walk through them while staying comfortably warm (but stylish) !

Size
70 x 33 inches
Explanations on how to adapt the size are included in the pattern.

Yarn
450g (985 yards) of CASA by La Maison Tricotée. I used the Jeanne d’Arc colorway.
You could subsitute this yarn for any worsted weight (or any weight but obviously the drape and texture would change) but if you do I recommend using a yarn with a fairly good stitch definition (to show of the lace pattern) and not too twisted (or it won’t block well).

Le “frimas” c’est ce dépôt de givre qui transforme nos cheveux en glace et constelle nos foulards de poudre blanche. Ce châle est inspiré par la délicatesse et la beauté des paysages hivernaux et se veut une arme pour les traverser en restant comfortablement au chaud (et avec style) !

Taille
1m80 x 84 cm

Laine
450g (900m) de laine CASA par La Maison Tricotée. J’ai utilisé le coloris Jeanne d’Arc.
Vous pourriez utiliser une autre laine de type worsted (ou même d’une autre taille, mais la texture serait forcément différente). Je vous recommande cependant une laine avec un assez bonne définition de mailles, pour bien faire ressortir le motif, et pas filé trop ‘twisté’ pour qu’elle bloque bien.
