Fringe Binge Shawl
Fringe Binge is a crescent shaped shawl that is knitted in garter stitch and eyelets, increasing gradually to a depth of 12 inches including fringe, and then decreasing gradually to a total blocked length of 72 inches.
Fringe Binge can easily be adapted to various amounts & weights of yarns resulting in additional sizes.
This shawl appears intricate, but simple enough even for beginner knitters with a working understanding of knitting including CO, BO, M1, & K2tog ‘s.
It is my go to shawl when I want to knit a great gift that results in a lot of raves! Just reduce the amount of pattern repeats to change the width or length of the shawl and it quickly and easily becomes more of a scarf than a shawl! Great versatility!
This cinnamon colored Fringe Binge example used:
Crystal Panda Wool Print Yarn
440 yards of yarn
& resulted in a 72’ x 12” shawl.
