As a child I owned a handmade stuffed animal net but the yarn was horribly scratchy plastic and in hideous colors. Thankfully yarn has come a LONG way since then but if your child is anything like mine there is still a zoo’s worth of stuffed animals taking up residence in your home. Stuffies and lovies my children can’t bear to part with but being a tidy person I can’t abide seeing them strewn all over the house. This toy hammock is the perfect solution for that issue! With the granny stitch base it’s sturdy enough to hold as many toys as you can jam in it but still pretty enough to have on display in your child’s room or the baby nursery. Suitable enough for any beginner crocheter who can dc this hammock can be made over the course of a weekend (or evening if you’re really fast!)
