Fritillaria

Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
Fritillaria shawl takes its name from the namesake flower, Fritillaria meleagris, which is a fascinating flower. Aptly named Checkered Lily, its hanging bells sport a unique checkered pattern. Most frequently the checkering is in shades of purple (and occasionally white) marked with a faint checkerboard pattern.
The shawl features the same checkered patterning and star-pointed petal edging as this winsome and charming flower.

The pattern requires a total of 650-800 yards of yarn.
However it may take more or even less yarn depending on your yarn choice and desired size. You may opt for a kerchief size or a full-sized shawl.
