Frizzante Sweater
The sweater is worked from the top down. First the back yoke is worked, to create the slanted shoulders, then continuing in pattern to the bottom of the armholes. Next stitches are picked up and knitted along the shoulders and each side of the front yoke is worked separately while the V-neckline is being shaped. Then the two sides of the front yoke are joined and worked back and forth to the bottom of the armholes. After this the back and front yoke are joined for the body, which is worked in the round to the hem. Once the body has been completed, stitches are picked up and knitted along the armholes and the sleeves are worked down to the cuffs. At the end a rib neck edge is worked.
