The Polish Frizzle is a fairly elite breed of chicken known for their massive crests of curly feathers. In fact, Frizzles are bred almost entirely for show because their vision is often impaired due to all the feathers that flop down over their eyes.
Although these gloves will not directly transmogrify you into a Polish Frizzle, hopefully they will convey a tiny part of the joy of being a really fancy chicken. (However, if you knit these fingerless gloves and still feel less than satisfied in your chicken-hood, try my other pattern, Astro Viking Mohawk Hat, which will probably give one of the best experiences of having a comb on top of your head that you will ever hope to encounter.)

These make a fun accessory and aren’t very complicated to knit. They also knit up very quickly and make a great gift because hand sizes don’t generally need to be super precise. Also, being mesh, they are not terribly warm, but can keep your hands cozy on a cold day. ☂

The pattern does include a short section on abbreviations and what they mean, so if you are not familiar with any of the terms used, hopefully they will be made clear.

Have fun knitting ♥
