Frog
Amigurumi pattern written in US crochet terms.
MEASUREMENTS APPROX.: 18 inches (46 cm)
CROCHET LEVEL: Easy
TIME: 4 - 6 hours
THAT’S WHAT YOU NEED:
- 3 skeins of yarn. I used super bulky plush yarn 120m/100g (131yds/100g) Himalaya Dolphin Baby or YarnArt Dolce; Some white yarn for the eyes. Also you’ll need some fine red yarn for smile; – 7 mm crochet hook or according to the yarn; – Soft stuffing; – 2 black safety amigurumi eyes 16 mm (0.7 inch); – Big and small yarn needle, scissors.
Stitches/Terms Used
(US Terminology):
MR = magic ring
St = stitch
Sl St = slip stitch
Sc = single crochet
Inc = increase (crochet 2 stitches in 1 stitch)
Dec = decrease (crochet 2 stitches together)
NOTE:
You can use this pattern to make larger or smaller frog by using finer or bulkier yarn. Don’t forget to choose the right hook size (you can pick crochet hook a size smaller than suggested on your yarn label, so you’ll get more tightly fabric).
