Frog crochet pattern

This measures about 7cm tall and 12cm in length, when made with double knit yarn or about 9cm tall and 16cm in length, when made with aran yarn. When I make this Frog I use the Green and Light Green shades of Stylecraft yarn, but any two that go well together would work).

Materials

For the smaller size animal:
3.5 mm hook (US E hook)
Approx 20g dark double knit weight yarn
Approx 10g light double knit weight yarn
Small amount of black yarn for details
Stuffing

For the larger size animal:
5 mm hook (US H hook)
Approx 35g dark aran weight yarn
Approx 15g light aran weight yarn
Small amount of black yarn for details
Stuffing

• chain
• slip stitch
• single crochet / double crochet
• single crochet decrease / double crochet decrease
• single crochet increase / double crochet increase
• half double crochet/ half treble crochet
