Welcome Freddie the frog and his fellows on this cute fun knit!
The beanie has a multi-color (corrugated) ribbing, followed by a water lily leaf border pattern (peerie). Next comes a band of 2 different frogs. One directly looking a you and smiling with his typical wide mouth, the other one looking upwards, sticking his tongue out, trying to catch one of the above flying mosquitoes. Above is a little cloud peerie pattern followed by a blue sky and the sun at the top.

It is completely knitted with 4-ply sock yarn of different manufacturers. But you can also use Acrylic yarn or Merino of similar weight or a bit thicker.

There are at most two colors in one round, so it’s easier to knit than it might seem.

For bigger sizes go up one needle size and/or use 5-ply yarn or both.

Freut Euch auf Freddie den Frosch und seine Kumpels auf dieser lustigen Mütze ;-)
Die Mütze hat einen mehrfarbigen Bund, gefolgt von einer Seerosenblätter-Bordüre. Dann kommen zwei unterschiedliche Frösche: der eine lacht einen freundlich an, der andere versucht grad mit seiner Zunge eine Mücke zu fangen :)

Darüber scheint die Sonne über einer kleinen Wölkchenbordüre.

Die Mütze ist komplett in 4-fach Sockenwollresten gestrickt.
Ihr könnt aber auch Acrylgarn oder Merinogarn ähnlicher Stärke verwenden. Für größere Köpfe verwendet bitte etwas dickere Nadeln und/oder 5-fach Garn (z.B. Buttinette Madeleine Merino).

Es sind maximal 2 Farben in jeder Runde zu stricken. Deshalb ist sie leichter zu stricken, als man denkt :)
