Frog Prince Crown Applique
Every little prince or princess should accessorize everything with a crown
Make this cute crown applique and sew it on a garment, blanket or be creative and make it stand out on its own!
Did you know that the oldest crown that was used for the coronation of a European monarch is from the 9th century! It’s the Iron crown of Lombardy.
The pattern includes 4 different sizes: mini, S, M and L.
When using a fingering weight yarn the size of your crown applique will be between 4,5 cm/1,77 inch (mini size) and 20 cm/7,87 inch (large size).
This pattern includes a pdf and written instructions.
Skill level: beginner
Techniques used in this pattern: making a chain, crocheting in rows, slip stitches, surface crochet and blind bind-off.
Materials needed:
- fingering weight yarn
- 3 mm/D-10 crochet hook
- tapestry needle
