• I recommend keeping your stitches relatively loose to meet the gauge (and to make your hat nice and stretchy) - The pattern uses a 5.5mm/size I-9 hook, but feel free to use any hook to obtain gauge
• Feel free to add more “band” rows for a longer hat

Measurements:
This pattern includes four sizes: toddler, child, and adult Small and Large. Toddler size should approximately fit ages 3- 6, child size should approximately fit ages 7-10, and adult Small and Large should fit anyone above that age depending on the size of their head. Check your gauge by measuring the diameter of your piece once you’ve finished your crown:
Toddler: 4” diameter
Child: 4.75” diameter
Adult Small: 5.5” diameter
Adult Large: 6” diameter
Don’t worry if they don’t fit exact measurements; the hat is very stretchy!
