Dragon is eventually born, after sitting at the back of my mind for 15 months!
A bit inspired from FroggyBug Chameleon, for the legs and the hemmed picots tailbone, but a bit easier and quicker.

Requirement
Yarns and needles: personally, I like sock yarns and thin needles (2.0mm – 2.5mm), but any other yarn and appropriate needles should work, as long as the fabric is tight enough to prevent stuffing showing through.
I like using circular needles for long rows over 50 stitches (legs and body), and double pointed needles for knitting in the round or low number of stitches (belly, head, I-cord)
For the first Dragon, I used needles 2.0 mm all along, for the second one, I used 2.5mm needles for the belly and the head. I like them both!

As all the FroggyBug family members, Dragon’s eyes are made of a crochet magic loop, and some I-cord / French knitting / nancy spool is used in several parts.
Obviously, some soft toy / cushion filling, a tapestry needle, and some patience are also needed!
Knitting technique is basic: cast on, cast off, knit, purl, short rows, button holes, stitches picked up from the side, and intarsia for the bicoloured wings
Crochet technique is limited to the magic loop for the eyes
Embroidering is used for the smile and the black stars on the eyes
