I made this for myself and decided to share the pattern. Knit flat starting at the hood, and using short rows to shape before knitting in the round for the body of the sweater. Pocket added afterwards. I used the same weight yarn and needles as a I did for my frog (dk and US 2)

The pattern does fit the other dotpebbles creatures but may need an extra 2 rows added after row 8 for a better fit with fox and croc patterns (My photo is without the extra rows )
