Is there any better way to celebrate the coming Spring than a pair of delicate, lacy, ruffly socks? The Frolic Socks fit the bill, from their beautiful (and surprisingly easy and intuitive) lace pattern to the dainty ruffle at the base of the cuff. These will look just as great full-length, as pictured, as they would short! Whether you’re traipsing through a meadow or just running errands, the Frolic Socks will add a dose of whimsy and romance to every step you take.

The Frolic Socks are knit from the toe-up with multiple options for toe and heel constructions for a perfectly customizable fit. Before beginning to knit the 2x2 cuff, you’ll insert a lifeline so that once you finish the cuff and bind off, you can easily slip those stitches back onto your needles to knit the ruffle separately.

Size
One Size: 18cm/7in

The Frolic socks come in one width that should fit the average woman’s foot circumference snugly enough to be comfortable. The length of the sock is entirely customizable.

The sample is knit in Filcolana Arwetta in the color Summer Sky for the main color and Snow White for the toe, heel, cuff, and ruffle.
