Frolicking Reindeer Christmas Stocking
It’s Santa’s frolicking reindeer! You can pretend this is any one of them. Add a little red nose to make it Rudolph! A personalized, hand-knit stocking is a gift that will last a lifetime. Of course the name is customizable, and you have the choice to knit the name in or do it as duplicate stitch afterward.
Finished Size: One size, approximately 18” around, 27” long.
Yarn: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Superwash, 110 yards/50g. Sample knit in White, Hollyberry, and Evergreen.
Sample used 160g total:
80g/176yds white, 24g/53yds Hollyberry, 54g/119yds Evergreen.
Needles: Set of 5 double-pointed needles or two circular needles size 7 US (4.00mm), or size to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 4 stitches/5 rows per inch in blocked stockinette. Gauge is not critical for this item, but it will affect drape and yardage used.
