Chaos in Greek mythology is the void state that preceded creation. In this color blocked shawl, Earth, Air, Fire, and Water emerge from from Chaos to create four perfect wedges. The shawl starts with a provisional cast on combined with an i-cord cast on and finishes with an i-cord cast off resulting in a perfect, unbroken edge around the entire piece. It’s a little fussy but the result is pure magic!

Kelbourne Woolens Andorra; 60% merino wool, 20% highland wool, 20% mohair; 185 yards (169 meters) / 100 grams; 675yds total; Background color: 375 yards

Colors A, B, C, and D: 75 yards each; Six skeins total, two of Background color and one each of colors A, B, C, and D.
