From Eden Cardigan
The From Eden Cardigan is made from 2 Hexagons in a mesh stitch (with a construction similar to the granny hexi cardigan) and has a variety of different flowers as well as a pocket, so you can walk around with perpetual flowers in your pockets. Just like Hozier intended.
It’s a made to measure project so you can use any weight of yarn you have and a bigger hook than your yarn recommends for extra drape. I used King Cole’s Cottonsoft which is a DK 100% cotton with a 5mm. My testers have used yarn ranging from fine yarn to extra chunky.
You will need approximately 3 to 8 balls of yarn for the main body and scraps of yarn for the flowers and pockets.
It is customizable, with options to make the cardigan longer and a different edging on the sleeve.
It has an entire section dedicated to making the pattern work for plus sizes, with pictures and graphs showing how to make it fit better.
Whilst the pattern is more for an intermediate level, it can be great for confident beginners with lots of pictures, sketches and links to videos used throughout the pattern.
I have this listed on my Kofi at it’s cheapest price for £6.00, if you wish to purchase there the link should be available on this listing just above. Buying from my Kofi is the best way to support me as a designer and the best way to purchase my patterns.
From Eden is a Hozier song lmao
