Whether you are off for a country walk and want something chic to complete your look, or whether you are a city goer who wants to make a nod to country living; this shawl has you covered.

This is a crescent/triangular shawl with a fun element of detail right at the start and then some relaxing stockinette stitch for the remainder of the project, all neatly tied up with an i-cord edging.

The shawl is worked flat in DK weight yarn. I bought 2 X 100g skeins (250m each) of the main colour and only ate a little bit into the second skein (less than half). My contrast colour was a 25g mini (65m) and I again used about half.

I will be releasing a matching hat pattern that would be perfect to use up the left over main and contrast colours from this project.
