  • Follow this adventure in building an infinity scarf – no long cast-ons, no grafting, no seaming, no picking up stitches; a reversible scarf without miles of garter stitch, which plays nicely with both solid & variegated yarns, doesn’t curl, and sports a neat finished edge. Work this project with a single 100g skein of sock yarn, or add in a contrast where you prefer.

  • This scarf begins much like a top-down triangular shawl; bias panels continue, adding length to either side of the triangle. Finally, live stitches from the 2 panels are combined, & paired decreases reduce the remaining triangle to just a couple of stitches left to bind off.

  • This pattern features a single skein of sock yarn, but is easily adaptable to various yarn weights & amounts. Partial, and/or contrasting yarns are easily incorporated, making for unique stash-busting possibilities.

  • Just cast on 2 stitches, & away you go!

-Be sure to check this project if you’d like to work this scarf in a heavier weight yarn - it’s worked in Manos Silk Blend, using just 2 skeins (300 yds./ 270m)
