“From the Ford” is a drapey triangular shawl featuring bands of varying sizes alternating between a delicate lace, reminiscent of burbling creek water, and moss stitch, similar in texture to a stony bottom or a rocky place where you could wade across. It is a pattern that keeps up the interest and shows off semisolid yarns very well. The finished shawl is sumptuous and squooshy with an elegant look that fits with both traditional and modern tastes. It’s big enough to wear in lots of different ways.
This shawl is knit from the bottom up and can be knit to really any size you desire; just stop knitting and bind off whenever you think it looks good!

Finished size: Approx. 93” wingspan, 24” from top edge to bottom tip (easily adjustable to personal preference)

Gauge: 26st & 33 rows = 10cm / 4” in stockinette stitch
