From the Vortex
by Dan Lee
Starting with a cast on of 8 stitches, ‘From the Vortex’ is worked from the centre, featuring textured (purl) stripes and a triangular lace pattern. Once a square is formed, the knitting goes from in-the-round to being worked flat, tapering down along the length, again with textured stripes and the same lace pattern.
Work with a beautiful hand-dyed multicoloured yarn to show off it’s glorious shades and shifting, together with a complementary semi-solid for contrast and to show off the lace design.
