Frontline hero postman
Have you heard about the “thumbs up for your postie” movement?
You can now make your own thumbs up postman for your local postie! My one loved it so much it goes with him everywhere!
US thermology
Easy intermediate pattern but beginners who want to challenge themselves can do it too.
Very detailed with step by step instructions and plenty of pictures to guide you along.
What you need to know:
- magic circle and working in spiral rounds
- single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, slip stich (there’s a bobble stich in there too but it is explained step by step)
- how to change colours
- how to work into front loop and back loop only
Materials you’ll need:
• yarn of your choice and 1 or 2 sizes smaller hook than recommended
(I used Paintbox DK cotton yarn in colours Light caramel 409, Pillar red 415, Pure black 402, Stale grey 406, Paper white 401 and a 3mm crochet hook. With this yarn the doll turned out to be 5” tall)
• 4 mm safety eyes
• toy stuffing material
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Double sided tape
The pattern includes the printable logos I used on the last page already sized for you.
Note that this pattern is part of my “Frontline Heroes” series. Find the others in my shop.
