Frore is the Middle English word for “frozen”. For almost half a year we live in a frozen and cold, but beautiful, land here in Alberta. The colour of this yarn reminded me of the icy blue glacial rivers that run through this wintry landscape.
Use version 1.1 - was missing definition for “cdd” stitch or central double decrease.
Difficulty - Easy
Skills used - Knitting in the round, increasing, decreasing
Sizes - One size
Finished measurements
Circumference: 70 cm / 26 inches unstretched; 81 cm / 39 inches stretched
Height: 30 cm / 12 inches
Gauge – unstretched and unblocked
10 stitches and 12 Rows = 5 cm / 2 inches in lace stitch pattern on US 8 (5 mm) needles

est. 143 g / 5 oz or 285 m / 312 yds
Yarn
Vintage acrylic yarn was used. Any currently available Worsted (#4) yarn with similar yardage may be used.
Needles - US 8 (5 mm) circular, 24″ / 60 cm long
Notions - Stitch markers, tapestry needle, crochet hook
