This easy hat has a striking diamond pattern which rise from the ribbed brim in a smooth transition. Likewise, the decreases form a satisfying flower shape. The hat is worked with a folded brim for extra warmth and uses easy 1x1 cables worked in a twisted method to avoid cable needles. Using just one skein of fingering weight yarn, it is the perfect choice for the one special skein and works up super quick!

Skills:

  • Provisional cast-on (optional)
  • Knitting in the round
  • Decreases (k2tog, ssk)
  • Twisted cables worked without a cable needle (instructions included in pattern) or other method for 1x1 cables
