Frost Cardigan
This cardigan is inspired by the Faroese sweaters, with two colour fair isle pattern in stripes, in one main colour and one contrast colour. I was inspired by our cold and long winters in the Faroe Islands, when I designed the pattern for this cardigan. The name Frost is an international word as well as a Faroese word.
The body and yoke is knitted back and forth from the bottom up, while the sleeves up to underarm are knitted in the round. You can knit the cardigan body in the round, and cut it up later, if you prefer that method.
Skills:
You have to know how to cast on and bind off. Work in the round and back and fort using two colours at the same time. Knits and purls. Increases and decreases.
