Frost Flowers
The starting point for these mitts was the icy blue shade of Julie Asselin Nurtured, called Through The Looking Glass. Colorwork ideas in a muted wintry palette started to form in my head, though these mitts would look equally good in a brighter, higher contrast combination.
These are simple to work, with an afterthought thumb and no gusset. Notes for choosing the best size for your hands are included in the pattern.
Yarn
3 colors of Julie Asselin Nurtured (100% wool, 130 yds / 119 m per 60g skein) in the following quantities:

yarn color B: 30 (35, 40) yds / 27 (32, 36) m Through the Looking Glass (1 skein)
yarn color C: 100 (115, 130) yds / 92 (105, 119) m Fer a Cheval (1 skein)
If substituting yarn, worsted weight is recommended.
