Frost Lattice
This stylish round-bottom purse has vintage appeal, and it’s worked in an easy-to-remember two-row lace pattern. You can completely change the look with the lining color and button choice.
Finished Size:
25½“ around x 9½” deep, excluding handles; 7¾“ across base
Materials:
Lopi Einband, 100% pure new wool, 273 yds Color 1761 Teal
US D/3 (3.25 mm) or size needed to obtain correct gauge
Two 5”/12.5 cm circular purse handles
One 1” button
½ yd. of lining fabric; matching thread; sewing needle
Circle of cardboard 7½” in diameter for stiffening bottom of purse
1 yd satin ribbon, 1/8” wide (optional)
Gauge:
5 repeats of Lattice Lace pattern = 4¼“ wide; 12 rounds in Lattice Lace pattern = 4” high
