Frost on flowers shows the last flowers coated in frost while keeping their colors for some further days.
Worked in the round, this hat starts with a short row section to shape the brim narrower at the neck. A stranded section shows 2 different flowers and is followed by plain stockinette while turning the hat into a slightly slouchy shape. Ice crystals are finally embroidered (straight st, a very simple hand-embroidery st). A big pompom is attached on the top - either in wool or fur.

Frost on flowers représente les dernières fleurs figées dans un manteau de givre, mais qui gardent leurs couleurs pour quelques jours encore.
Tricoté en rond à partir du bord, avec des rangs raccourcis pour la bordure, ce bonnet un peu slouchy arbore un motif fleuri en jacquard à fils tendus, puis se termine en jersey uni. Des cristaux de givre sont ensuite rebrodés pour finir le dessin. Un gros pompon en laine ou en fourrure peut agrémenter son sommet.
