Frost Summer Sweater
One of my traditions as a photographer is to photograph the beautiful Finnmarksvidda just before the sun returns by the end of January. Then, the sky has very special pastel tones. Frost would slide right into an ice-cold winter landscape, just waiting for the year’s first rays of sunshine.
The pattern on the yoke is meant to resemble sun rays hitting the landscape for the first time after a long period of darkness. The pattern that goes from round 23 to 30 is supposed to represent a sun with a little face.
