Valley Yarns Frostbite is a women’s fingerless mitts pattern, which are knit in one piece in the round using Taconic. The tight gauge combined with a textured waffle stitch and reverse stockinette stitch background make them an extra warm and special gift. Soft, tweedy Valley Yarns Taconic is a bulky yarn that’s named after the Taconic Range, known for its natural beauty and scenic landscapes. Taconic is a soft blend of Merino wool and cashmere, with multicolored tweedy flecks that give the finished fabric a fantastic visual texture. The waffle stitch pattern is charted and written out.
