Inspiration:
I am most creative during peaceful moments where I sit by the computer and chart different stitch combinations, flowy, repetitions and geometric but feminine shapes. I love how this played out, simple yet elegant.
Then, the pattern sits…waiting …for the right moment…Choosing the right fiber is key to a successful design. This fiber delivers on those fronts. I am a fan of cashmere. Its softness and fluff are undeniably the coziest qualities. Paired with a simple geometric lace, its gorgeous! The fabric created with this stich pattern and fiber is elastic, helping with the modern fit I imagined.
I hope you enjoy just the right amount of lace, and feminine flow. Bonus to this stich pattern is that the “left” side looks amazing as well. I think it’s fair to say you get 2 sweaters in one.
Sizes:
Bust (finished blocked garment) 38.5, (44, 50, 55) in; 98, (112.5, 126.5, 140.5) cm.
Meant to fit with some positive ease in the bust with fitted sleeves.
Shown in pictures on a model with 38 in (96.5cm) bust wearing size 44 in (112.5 cm) bust. Lace pattern has a lot of “give” (stretch), therefore providing form fit in the sleeves.
Smallest size outside the brackets, consecutive sizes inside the parentheses.
Gauge:
26 sts/ 34 rows knitted in ktbl, k3, ktbl, p1 ribbing pattern in 4 in/10 cm square. Knitted using size 4 US (3.25mm) needles. Gauge is the same using the lace pattern (chart B).
Please take time to achieve gauge, adjust needle size as needed.
